Apple launched as new IPhone XS and XS Max,
as well as the IPhone XR. Keeping the older IPhone 8 plus on sale too. The
IPhone 8 Plus is still a better option as compared to IPhone XR due to some
features. It does not mean IPhone XR is not better but it’s not superior in all
features. Let’s see how IPhone 8 plus is better option than XR.

Difference between design and display.
The main difference is in display size.
IPhone 8 Plus has 5.5 inch display at 401ppi(pixel per inch) with a 1920x1080
resolution, but the IPhone XR has 6.1 inch edge to edge display which is in
trend at 326ppi with 1792x828 resolution.
IPhone 8 plus has higher resolution and
higher ppi value as compared to IPhone XR. In this aspect 8 plus winner with no
doubt. In another aspect XR lacks in 3D touch but 8 plus has. If you require
this than you will be disappointed its not in XR
The other difference between them is that
IPhone 8 Plus has Home button which you all know and like. With this Home
button IPhone 8 plus has touch ID. IPhone XR has no Home button and touch ID
but it has gesture based home control. It has apple's new face ID facial
recognition system. Which is in favour of IPhone XR.

The IPhone XR has slightly more battery
capacity i.e 2710mAH as compared to IPhone 8 Plus has 2691mAH. This difference
is not sufficient to favour IPhone XR.

Both phones has 7MP sensor but IPhone XR
has true depth system which supports face ID facial recognition system. But
when it comes to rear camera IPhone 8 Plus has 12MP wide angle dual lens and
optical image stabilization 2x optical zoom, telephoto cameras and 4k video
recording. But IPhone XR has 12MP wide angle single lens camera and has not 2x
optical zoom, it has optical image stabilization and 4k video recording.
Conclusion & Cost
IPhone 8 Plus with 64GB storage has cost Rs.69899
as compared to IPhone XR with 64GB has cost Rs.75400. The Rs.5000 difference
for IPhone XR will give you bigger display and latest design, on the other hand
you will lose out dual lens camera. If camera is more important to you than
display then go for IPhone 8 Plus. If you want bigger display and fast
processor for gaming then you choose IPhone XR. The choice is yours.
