One plus does not really change hardware components, overall design as well as specifications of One Plus 6T from One Plus 6. The main change is in 6T is that it has narrower cut out at the top of display. The 6T has 6.4 inch display which is slightly large as compared to 6.28 inch on one plus 6. 6T is 0.6mm narrower than one plus 6 which makes a lot of difference during usage. There is also increased battery power in 6T (3700mAH) which is (3300mAH) in its predecessor. One Plus 6T has in-display sensor to unlock the phone but it isn’t as fast as standard fingerprint sensor. This sensor also failed sometimes to recognise my fingerprint occasionally. If you think in-display is ain reason to upgrade that then I would recommend you to drop your idea. One Plus 6T has same unlock as One Plus 6 which is fast and accurate in general.

Aside from sensor there isn’t much difference in phones. Both phones have same Snapdragon 845 processor, same RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual rear and front Camera but increase in price more than Rs.2000 only. 6T also has gorilla glass protection at front and back but in one plus 6 gorilla glass 5 protection on back which is not reason to upgrade your phone. If you are a fan of wired audio then you miss it in 6T. One Plus 6 T has not 3.5mm jack. All smart phone industry is moving away from wired audio and this company also follow this trend.

Overall One Plus 6T does not offer anything new except in-display sensor which is also not as fast as traditional fingerprint sensor. Due to same performance we recommend you to not to upgrade from One Plus 6 to One Plus 6T. But if someone has to buy new one plus phone then he must buy One Plus 6T because of large battery power and little longer screen size, if you are fan of wired audio the one plus 6 is best choice for you.
