The war of affordable smartphones is at
peak between OnePlus 6T and Honor View20. Xiaomi POCO F1 also a strong competitor
of these two phones. It is known as PocoPhone F1 except in India. Let’s compare
Honor View20 with Poco F1.
Comparison of Design and Display:
Both phones have very different design.
Honor View20 has flashy black glass and company uses the gradients very
beautifully which works for phone. Xiaomi POCO F1 has plastic back which looks
a little cheap but not a bar looking phone. As per company its design helps
them to lower its price. It doesn’t matter too much because now a day’s
everyone uses back case.
Honor View20 definitely has a better screen
than Xiaomi. It has 6.4” display with LTPS IPS panel looks vibrant and fantastic
contrast ratio. The display's visibility also bright outside. Display of POCO
F1 is not bad but contrast of display is not at same level of View20. It shows black
like grey and outdoor visibility is also not same as comparison to View20. POCO
F1 has 6.18” display with notch style. Company include an infrared camera for
better and accurate face recognition. Honor View20 has hole punch in display
for front camera which is also not ideal but it is definitely a better than deep
cut-out notch. Both these phones are very comfortable to hold. Thus design and
display are in favour of Honor View20.
Comparison of Processor and Software:
Both phones has top best components for
better performance. POCO F1 powered by Snapdragon 845 with upto 8GB RAM. It has
Adreno 630 GPU. Honor View20 has Kirin 980 chipset with Mali G72 GPU upto 8GB
RAM. Xiaomi F1 has half of the price of Honor View20 which is in favour of POCO
F1. Under normal usage it has no complaint and zero lag while multitasking and
playing PUBG.
Both phones run with Android Pie with skins
of manufacturer top. View20 has Magic UI 2.0 and POCO F1 has MIUI which Xiaomi
calls POCO launcher. It has same pre loaded application which shows advertisement
in the interface which is quiet offensive some time.
Comparison of Camera:
POCO F1 has 12MP camera with 5MP depth sensing
lens while View20 has 48MP camera with 3D ToF sensor. In indoor comparison shot
View20 is a little brighter and has more details in shadow region. View20 opts for
cooler white balance for which most people are not fond of. In bright day light
differences are minimal but in low light conditions POCO F1 shows less detail
than View20.
